365 Days..

365 days from this Earth, my sweet girl. I imagine a time we are together again... frolicking through daisy peppered fields, laying on our backs and watching the clouds drift by... napping in the sun, and flicking butterflies from your ears. Explore Paradise well my girl, I want to see it all, and have you be my guid...e when I arrive. Find the best swimming holes to cool ourselves, the best rivers to fish, the most gentle fields to rest..the best trails to explore ... and in the meantime, our adventures live on in my dreams... my beautiful beautiful Destiny.

This is where my mom says OMD has it been a year already -

It only seems like yesterday we met woo here AND then woo lost her -

I'm sure she's followed these 365 days with great interest -

She's probably singing the Lucinda Williams song 'Are You Alright?' -

Here's to Destiny and here's to YOU too!

I am so very sorry about your loss and your immense sorrow. I have lived in your shoes and I will be wearing them again - the thought of living life without animals at my feet and in my home is unacceptable.

Please know that you have my sincere condolences.

I came across your blog from a readers site to my blog at Pet Portraits http://pet-portraits-oilpaintings.blogspot.com/

I lost my Yorkie after many years in September and still miss him terribly. Our pets fill us with so much love, that my heart feels deflated without the daily wet kisses. You wrote a lovely tribute. I can't seem to manage to even write two sentences before the tears start to roll.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say it's a lovely tribute.
